Bryan Stirewalt

Bryan Stirewalt is a seasoned professional with nearly 40 years of experience in the financial sector. He started his career with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency as a National Bank Examiner. He then joined BearingPoint where he held project leadership and diplomacy roles in several emerging market locations. More recently Mr. Stirewalt served as the Chief Executive of the Dubai Financial Services Authority. He currently holds the post of the MENA Financial Services Regulatory Leader at Ernst & Young. In addition to these roles above, Mr. Stirewalt represented non-member jurisdictions around the world on banking supervision and regulation issues at the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision while serving as the Co-Chair of the Basel Consultative Group. He is currently an active member of the Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime
