Check if a firm is authorised

Through licensing, AFSA establishes a “whitelist” of trusted firms and monitors their operations. We assess capital adequacy, client asset protection, fee transparency, and advertising practices, while continuously reviewing market activity to identify manipulation and misconduct.

Check if a firm is authorised

If you are approached by a firm claiming to provide AIFC-regulated financial services, check the AFSA Public Register to verify its authorisation status and permitted activities.

Always verify the information before using financial services or transferring funds.

Not sure what to check? See our step-by-step manual on how to use the AFSA Public Register.
