AFSA Publishes Results of Thematic Review of Fund Managers

The Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA) has published the results of its Thematic Review of AIFC Participants authorised to carry on the Regulated Activity of Managing a Collective Investment Scheme, together with a Dear SEO Letter outlining AFSA’s key supervisory expectations arising from the review. 

The Thematic Review assessed financial conduct, fund governance, investor protection, recordkeeping and compliance with applicable AIFC Rules, as well as firms’ systems and controls for calculating and monitoring Capital Resources and Liquid Assets and compliance with the AIFC Prudential Rules for Investment Firms.
