Yerkegali Yedenbayev

Mr Yedenbayev holds a degree in Finance and Credit from the Kazakh State Academy of Management and a Master’s degree in International Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham (UK). He has over 25 years of experience in financial regulation, banking, insurance, and financial services.

Prior to joining AFSA, he held senior executive and board positions in the financial sector and worked at both the National Bank of Kazakhstan and the Agency for Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organisations.

Since joining AFSA in 2019, Mr Yedenbayev has served in several senior leadership roles and currently serves as Chief Authorisation and FinTech Officer.
