Anuar Kaliyev

Anuar has over 25 years of experience in the financial sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan. His extensive career spans such areas as insurance, financial and banking supervision. He worked at the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Agency for Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organisations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Committee for the Control and Supervision of the Financial Market and Financial Organisations of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He assumed the role of the Head of Prudential Supervision Division in November 2018 and then of the Financial Conduct Division at AFSA and later became Chief Operations Officer. Starting from March 2026, Anuar assumed the role of Chief Supervision Officer.
